Our verdict: the KoziSense A18 is one of the best-rated full-body massage chairs on Amazon. It arrives fully assembled and has a US-based support team behind it. Owners consistently praise its comfort and value. Its limits are size and depth: it's rated for users up to 250 lb, it uses a 3D mechanism rather than 4D, and fit is the most mixed topic in its reviews. Here's how it compares with the two alternatives worth considering:
The KoziSense A18 and Its Closest Alternatives
Why it's #1: 76% of its 365 ratings are five-star, and only 3% are one-star. Comfort is mentioned positively 179 times. It also arrives fully assembled, so setup is little more than plugging it in.
Why it's #2: it has the same brand, warranty and support as the A18, but it's rated for 280 lb and users up to 6'3", and it heats the rollers themselves. Owners say it feels roomier. It has far fewer ratings (36), so there's less owner evidence.
KoziSense A18 Review at a Glance
KoziSense A18 Zero Gravity Full Body Massage Chair with Heat
The A18 is one of the easiest massage chairs to own. It arrives fully assembled, rolls on built-in wheels, fits through doorways 29 inches or wider and comes with a 3-year limited warranty, lifetime virtual tech support and a US-based team. Its modular parts can be replaced individually, which makes repairs simpler.
As a massage chair, it's well rounded rather than extreme: therapist-designed auto programs, a body scan, an SL track with zero gravity, a 3-stage foot massager, and voice and phone control. The two things to check first are fit, since owners report the best results at the shorter end of the 5'2" to 6'2" range, and the 250 lb limit.
Key Features
- Arrives assembled, on wheels: no tools or setup day.
- 12 auto + 8 manual modes: with auto programs refined with massage therapists.
- Smart body scan: maps your shape before the massage.
- SL track + zero gravity: follows the spine into a reclined position.
- 3-stage foot massage: toes, arches and heels, with calf compression and an adjustable leg extension.
- Voice and phone control: AI voice, a patented hands-free phone controller and Bluetooth audio.
What Buyers Say
Comfort is mentioned far more than anything else, followed by value, the range of programs and relaxation. The two mixed themes are sizing, where taller owners report a less precise fit, and heat, which several owners find barely noticeable at first. The sections below break down both.
Pros
- Low complaint rate: 5% of ratings are 1 or 2 stars
- No assembly and built-in wheels
- 3-year warranty with US-based support
- Fits 29-inch doorways
Cons
- 250 lb maximum
- Best fit for shorter users
- Heat is mild
Best for Most users under about 5'9" and 250 lb who value an easy, well-supported chair.

Will the A18 Fit You?
Start here, because fit is the one area where A18 owners disagree. KoziSense says the chair suits users from 5'2" to 6'2", with an adjustable leg extension, and Amazon lists a 250 lb maximum. Owner feedback leans toward the shorter end of that range. One 5'3" owner says it fits her perfectly, but anyone much taller might find their head above the headrest. Amazon's review summary also notes that some owners find the sizing "off" and not spacious enough.
| You are... | A18 fit | Better option |
|---|---|---|
| 5'2" to about 5'9", up to 250 lb | Within the brand's range; shorter owners report the best fit | — |
| About 5'10" to 6'2" | Within the brand's range, but owner reports are mixed | Consider the KZ-313 (5'4"–6'3") |
| Over 6'2" | Outside the brand's range | Our massage chairs for tall people |
| Over 250 lb | Over the listed limit | KZ-313 (280 lb) or our big and tall picks |
| Wanting deep, adjustable-depth pressure | 3D only | RELX 4D |

What 365 Owners Say: the Strengths
- Comfort is its biggest strength. It's the most-mentioned topic, with 179 positive mentions, and many owners call it the best massage chair they've used.
- Value for money (83 positive mentions). Owners say it's worth the money.
- Strong massage options (70 mentions). Owners cite the range of styles and intensity levels, and one says the "hands" are surprisingly powerful.
- Stress relief (50 mentions). Owners describe help with back pain, headaches and end-of-day tension.
- Easy setup (44 mentions). It comes out of the box ready to use; one owner who bought it as a birthday gift says it worked immediately.
The Complaints Worth Knowing
- Fit (32 mentions, mixed). Some owners say it fits their room and their body perfectly; others say the sizing feels off. See the fit table above before you buy.
- Heat (29 mentions, mixed). Some owners love the full-length back pad and the heat over the shoulders. Others say the warmth isn't noticeable at first. Give it a few minutes before judging.
- Long-term reliability is still unproven. One owner reports a problem with the leg massager about five months in. The A18 is a recent model, so there isn't years of reliability data yet. That makes the warranty terms below more important.
Warranty and Returns, Decoded
KoziSense's published return and warranty policy is more detailed than most brands'. Here's what it actually covers:
| Period / case | What's covered |
|---|---|
| Year 1 | Free maintenance and repair for major defects in workmanship or materials |
| Years 2–3 | Replacement parts, plus virtual help and instruction videos; labor not included |
| Unused open-box units | 1 year of free parts only, no labor |
| Used or pre-owned chairs | Only 6 months of free parts |
| Not covered | Normal wear of the PU leather, accidents, misuse, water damage |
For purchases from KoziSense's own store, you can request a return within 30 days of delivery, in original condition. A 10% restocking fee applies if you've thrown away the original box. Return shipping is free for quality issues (with photos or video), and you pay it otherwise. Amazon orders follow the return terms shown at checkout. KoziSense also sells extended 2-year plans, either parts only or parts plus labor.
Keep the box until the return window closes, and be wary of heavily discounted open-box A18s: they come with 1 year of parts instead of the full 3-year coverage. Our massage chair repair guide covers the faults you can fix yourself.
